Leave for tour of Angkor Thom (comprising of the Bayon Temple, Bapoun, Terrace of Elephant and Terrace of Leaper King). The city of Angkor Thom, founded by Jayavarman VII in the 12th century, was one of the largest of all Khmer cities and remained the capital until the 17th century. Also visit Ta Prohm, the temple with the gigantic tree roots on the structure.
After lunch time start to visit Angkor Wat temple, the Seventh Wonder of the world till late afternoon, climb up to Bakheng hill to enjoy viewing sunset, back to town dinner at local restaurant, overnight in Siem Reap.
This day will take you into the typical Khmer countryside to visit the Banteay Srey temple, the “Citadel of Women” or “Citadel of Beauty” presumably referring to its size and the delicacy of its decoration and Banteay Samer built in the third quarter of the 12th century. It consists of a central temple with four wings preceded by a hall and accompanied by two libraries, the southern example remarkably well preserved. Two concentric walls enclose the ensemble. Then continue to East Mebon temple and Pre Rup. Lunch will be at a local restaurant and in the afternoon you visit Chong Kneas which is located nearby to Siem Reap town and is the most popular floating village for tourists to visit. You can see how the villagers life on top of the water with homes, schools, shops, and medical clinics floating on top of the water.
